Teach Me Tuesdays: A Little Light in the Dark

“I started reading a book about mazes. I got lost in it.” – Anonymous

Trust me the months of self exploration in this blog and through my astrology business have been building into the most oddish of adventures I’ve ever taken. If you really want to decode this blog post I’d suggest you enjoy the underlined hyperlink text which annotates what I’m discovering today.

My mom put on a modern rendition of Ophelia the other day. I got this quirky idea because I’d been combing through the list of asteroids to look into Ophelia (171) only to discover I should look also at Gertrud (710) who is the Queen in this Shakespearean tale. I’m honestly not a fan of Shakespeare.

I recall high school and hating my time spent in Beowulf, Shakespeare, and the Canterbury Tales.

I was beyond happy when I got to read anything of my own choosing in that class finally which was much further into the year as a senior opting for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights, and Mark Danielewski’s House of Leaves.

I had to play a role in the Canterbury Tales, and I truly did not want to even participate because I only wanted to be on stage in high school with dance. I am not a thespian thanks! Dancer yes; or was! I can only imagine the look on my face to my instructor. House of Leaves was a special one given to me by a friend as a Christmas gift.

She took me in the bookstore, handed me the book to thumb through, observed my reaction, bought it, and gifted me with it saying she had to know if I would like it. The minute I turned the first page I never put it down till I read it cover to cover! And then there was the music of Poe that I fell in love with also.

My family could not understand why I was constantly face shoved into the book like some sort of addict. At work people watched me turning it in circles reading parts of the text during the house exploration as it winds like a spiraling staircase going up/down.

I guess it’s because they don’t quite grasp the effect it has on some people. It’s something that people either love or hate with no in between. I fell into the love it category!

What that says about me I’ll leave to the audience because I know I’ll be judged for it simply due to what I choose to read or rather study. Please remember before you throw names out it takes one to know one!

I distinctly remember my step father’s commentary on observing me with that book! He probably doesn’t remember that conversation though over breakfast.

The thing about the above story is that the friend who gave me House of Leaves. Her name was Tiffany which means Theophanes through Ancient Greek. Two elements comprise the name. Theos (Divine, a deity, a God) and phaino (to appear, bring to light, show, uncover, reveal, and make known).

The name is a direct reference to epiphany and the manifestation of the Divine to a mere mortal. I keep an image from Breakfast at Tiffany’s in my bedroom on the wall near my wealth altar. Delphi saw the Theophania as an annual festival in spring to celebrate the return of Apollo from the winter quarters in Hyperborea.

People still wonder why I get into a tempest of soap box ranting over dogma, fundamentalism, and exoteric practices. If I listed every reason for why I don’t warm a pew anymore the list would be quite long!

You won’t find me worshiping in any church the way I used to because I grew up. I went my own way, and I chose another path. You can love someone who is different from you without agreeing with them.

I don’t agree with many who practice certain “religions” which I find different from spiritual or mystical practices being that some are far too orthodox and legalist. Hair splitting aside as we can all make puns about the practice. A trick that many employ in neural linguistic programming is to word smith their victim to death!

“I opened my journal but didn’t know which page to use. Write or left.” – Anonymous

Even the name Christosophia includes both Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine imagery. Sophia as a Greek name for the feminine figure of Divine Wisdom in ancient Judaism became the early Christian view of the Christ as both the word (Logos) and wisdom (Sophia) of God/Goddess. Sophia has always been acknowledged by esoteric Christianity as a key to unlock Christian wisdom needed for our time.

Recognizing the Divine Feminine within a Christian tradition leads to a renewed vision of the sacredness of our natural world and the value of participating in a mystical experience. Develop the heart language to deeply and profoundly “feel” and then you can sense way beyond this material reality.

I’m one of those Audrey Hepburn fans having enjoyed Sabrina and Roman Holiday also. I’ve also spent time picking those apart over the years. I guarantee the feminist movement does not like any of these movies or themes because as I peruse the AI driven search results lately it’s more than readily apparent how culture is changing.

But then I loved the movie Snake Pit for it’s themes too. As much as I hate tell a lie vision and know it’s not always healthy for me sometimes it brings to light a lot of educational material or brain tingling hunches for me to investigate further.

This same name, Tiffany, is connected with the number 9 and our pineal gland. The belief being that the person is humane and selfless showing compassion, tolerance, idealism, and sensitivity.

The pineal gland while about the size of a pea is in the center of the brain in a tiny cave behind and above our pituitary gland which lies a little behind the root of our nose. Located directly behind the eyes attached to the third ventricle we know it as the chakra of the upper dantien.

Our ninth chakra is an interesting chakra in that it is in this chakra that all of one’s Christ abilities lie dormant waiting to be released and used in the outer and inner worlds. A great deal of work and energy is now being sent into physical reality to help humans open up and expand this energy center.

Gold symbolizes wealth used wisely, but it is also the symbol of good health. People who favor the color gold are optimistic. Tibetan Buddhists believe in 5 sacred stones known as the crystal for light, turquoise for infinity of sea and sky, coral for life and form, gold for the golden rays of the sun, and silver for the light of the moon.

Gold is intimately linked with Divinity and those gods associated with the Sun symbolizing wealth and success.

After all of that the reason I am going with the theme of Ophelia and Gertrude is that both represent the sexism and double standards found in the way we view the anima.

For example, Ophelia displays as the light and shadow of the Maiden while Queen Gertrude is the light and shadow of the Mother. Some find that Shakespeare’s use of female hysteria and insanity is full of significance.

Ophelia is displayed through a lens of appearance, gestures, and props. If dressed in white and wild flowers with her hair down with an ending of drowning this was meant to imply the sexual imagery of the anima when discordant.

Innocent blossoming turned into whorish contamination. The Green Woman has given away her flowers/herbs to symbolize the deflowering of herself. Further the dishevelled hair becomes seen through the lens of madness or a victim of rape.

I can’t quite say I agree with this interpretation per say, but I do know as a child I ran around with my hair disheveled simply because it’s naturally curly and was constantly tangled. Combing or brushing it often resulted in me being upset with my hair being pulled, and if you don’t properly detangle it you’re going to actually ruin one’s hair.

Split ends and breakage anyone. I’d rather it be left to dry natural than someone rip it out via comb or brush like some barbarian in the name of grooming and decorum. As someone who happily frolics in her own garden with flowers and herbs or shares their photos online I’d hardly profess I’m guano crazy or even the victim of rape unless it’s mind rape which I’d factor many of us suffer from.

We all consume some rather peculiar things be they through tell a lie vision, computers, video games, books, or common food and drink. Hamlet has a twisted anima he is gripping with by spurring both his mother and Ophelia. It’s a chance to see how men treat their unconscious Divine Feminine by forcing them into the shadow and then refusing to work upon their dis-ease.

The Maiden should embody innocence and growth where the journey of idealistic hope begins. When we shove her into the shadow we make the Divine Feminine powerless and steal her agency. The Mother, however, should embody nurturing, love, and gentle governance yet when shoved into the shadow we find overbearing possessiveness, oppression, and literal or symbolic driving of one’s child away.

Solar Arc SAD Chart for Asteroid Ophelia and Gertrud

If you plop these two asteroids into your astrology chart you will begin to unfold the picture of how this plays out within your own life whether you are conscious or unconscious of it occurring. However, remaining unconscious of such is actually in my eyes not the most healthy or wholistic way to get along in one’s life. So you will see why I’m such a die hard fan of esotericism and out of the box exploration of these themes.

I’m using the Solar Arc Direction because it highlights shifts in our aspected placements such as when artistic projects receive rewarding recognition or emotional needs must be shifted. You will notice that in my chart Ophelia and Gertrud actually are essentially neighbors more or less.

Natal Ophelia was in my 4th House finishing the final degrees of Capricorn retrograde with Gertrud in Aquarius also retrograde. They’ve now moved towards the 5th House of Pisces where my South Node also resides in Western astrology.

4th House as the roots of identity shows the hidden potentials and family drama influenced by the Divine Feminine via emotions, children, and womanhood yet the 5th House is the inner child influencing pleasure, happiness, and sources of joy.

So we find Ophelia in Pisces at 8° opposing Venus, biquintile Mars, and sesquiquadrate Saturn. Gertrud is in Pisces at 19° opposing Mercury. Asteroids Ophelia and Gertrud are members of the Themis family in astronomy.

These degrees do have something of a peculiarity to them. Patterns here may emerge within the psyche where one needs to integrate Neptunian responsibility of not falling victim to the addictions of drugs or sex. These placements may suggest clairvoyance, but one should never get lost in wishful thinking that leads to deception.

If we learn to accept our own nature and develop self forgiveness we stop comparing self with other looking for illusory ideals of perfection. It is only through this that one finds freedom/liberation and their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. 3/4 of humanity is instead trying to live up to self imposed illusions that cause inferiority complexes, guilt trips, and phobias.

Both degrees are best displayed as follows for those interested. The chart holder knows that when we can really see negativity clearly, see into the inner workings of our own illusions, we are on the road to clearing them. They’re willing to have intimate contact with all kinds of discord going into the deepest subtlest layers of the structure of these things moving progressively toward a complete healing of them.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A gypsy peasant woman sings a mournful chant.” To give voice to all the sorrow and suffering of our soul is to begin the process of releasing it. This degree feels there is energy trapped in the self which needs to come out.

It is an energy of a toxic sort which can be alleviated through expressing it. It is because we do not deeply and completely embrace our pain that it stays with us. On the other hand if we embrace it without letting go of it we will continue to retain it. The magic is in the full embrace and the full realization of the nature of our feeling that finally allows us to accept it relaxing out of it.

And as we allow ourselves to empathize with others expressing their pain ours can be released simultaneously with theirs. Knowing that others deeply and intuitively understand what we are feeling is a way of healing unto itself. Work with guardian angel Daniel and daimon Furcas.

Daimon Furcas connects to the Six of Wands, Saturn, Leo, and Cinquefoil. One of those all around daimons who teaches astronomy, logic, ethics, astrology, and cheiromancy. Usually Furcas also teaches about potent herbs/stones and gives one charisma.

I legitimately read online that one should work with this daimon to learn to read natal charts, palms, and to develop clairvoyant skills. With a warning that if you don’t take the lesson seriously Furcas will give you a stern smack down. Needless to say I busted out laughing hysterically at this description.

The chart holder emanates the energy of emotional healing helping others to clear traumas and other heavy frequencies out of their astral body. It tends to do this with little conscious awareness of what it is doing, but the result is helping others to become more in touch with their inner self in a soft gentle manner which brings renewal and reconnection with the light of spirit.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Palm trees laden with dates.” Here is immense sweetness and rich nourishment flourishing in the desert. This degree carries within itself a wondrous abundance that manifests in may different forms such as intuitive insight, understanding, compassion, and the ability to uplift others.

All this degree needs to do is to distribute these gifts, to not repress them, or question their value, but simply to share what the spiritual light has provided. Work with guardian angel Umabel and daimon Zagan.

Daimon Zagan connects to the Eight of Wands, Sun, Sunflower (seeds), and Sagittarius. A great daimon for making a person wise in many various topics. You can read about this guardian angel and Zagan also in a previous blog post.

There is one degree only that falls upon a fixed star as we close this trek out. We’re exploring Skat in Aquarius’s shin bone. Transcribed from Arabic Scheat Edeleu it then became Al Shi’at meaning a Wish. The delta Aquarids around July 14th through August 18th issue near this fixed star. Kabbalists associate it with the Hebrew letter Nun and the tarot trump Temperance.

Have a contemplative and well informed Tuesday everyone! Hopefully it is full of blessings. ˖⁺。˚⋆˙♥️

Teach Me Tuesdays: Stranger Things Can Happen And Probably Do

“Know your own limits! Surpassing them might not always be good, so be gentle with yourself!” — Unknown

If we look above my What Watch astrology app also shows us that within Cancer we have not just a New Moon, but the Sun, Asteroid Ceres, and Black Moon Lilith. That is some rather strong energy to be working with at present.

We’re asked by these energies what did you lack while growing up and what are the consequences of this upon your ability to provide self love. Black Moon Lilith in Cancer says there was not enough security in the domestic life and that children suffered anxiety, trauma, and poisonous family members who ignored the needs of their child for nurturance.

Mothers provided their young with power struggles, unavailability, and dysfunction junction. The creative was denied and children now want to move out at younger and younger ages. We’re not allowed nor have the time to heal the trauma.

Black Moon Lilith in Cancer is the sign of a transgenerational family where the women have suffered unnecessarily! And I can whole heartedly state I resonate with this 💯%!

The Lilith archetype was one of rebellion, vengeance, and daimonic creativity. How does that compare to the archetype of Ceres? And how do we embody these Divine Feminine energies?

Let’s hold a mirror up to these vibrations and see if we can see past the illusions gleaning some answers through the underlined hyperlink text. Trust me it will help you understand this New Moon better if you click on the underlines for further study!

Isn’t it odd that during my blog post on Sunday I located the information I did including Yudono-san when we have a New Moon in Cancer. I mean seriously even my name is eluding to this through it’s references to rebirth and waterfalls. Another Carl Jung synchronicity?! Or is that confirmation bias.

On my left foot though I don’t think I’d be doing the hiking because well my body can’t take it anymore. In fact I have a podiatrist appointment tomorrow at 2:15 PM CST right after I chauffeur mom to her 2 PM CST appointment with the same foot specialist. It’s literally a two for one family special.

I have come to realize the spasm I had was not just the problem of compression socks I had been informed to wear, but may be a calcium and magnesium deficiency. Which I was already supplementing for amino acid deficiency with my neuropathy.

I guess even eating healthy food and drinking plenty of water is still not enough with my body. So back to my daily regimen of two magnesium a day and getting my calcium intake back up.

Seriously like the Magha nakshatra says about the palanquin/throne someone would have to carry me over there because my left foot would just die after the injuries already sustained in it and the ongoing osteoarthritis that I struggle with.

Which brings me briefly to the topic of fear and death. I have someone who assists right now who seems to be a bit germophobic. This insanity to me began near or before the Rona. Death is not possible if we know anything from quantum physics and energy.

Fear on the other hand is psychosomatic dis-ease which causes paralysis hence why we saw everyone afraid to leave their houses which become prisons and coffins of your own making. You have two paths in life; fear and love.

Fear of death means you will never live because you’re scared to eat, drink, have sex, fly in an airplane, ride in a car, breathe, and so forth. You are dis-empowered due to the power your shadow has over you because fear comes from ignorance and darkness!

It has nothing to do with stepping beyond limitations. We’ve existed with germs as fungus, bacteria, mold, viruses, and such since the beginning of consciousness or creation.

And with no exposure you would have no immune system to fight so please everyone go somewhere and take a chill pill because I can’t live my existence like this or with you when you channel low vibration thriving on fear pornography 24/7/365 x infinity.

Or I will begin donning a Plague Doctor costume when I have to meet with you straight from the constellation Corvus as Crow/Raven. Death is just a transformation of energy; stop living in fear and choose love!

Now that we’re done with that digression our New Moon will occur where I live at 9:52 PM CST on June 29, 2022 in Cancer at 19°. If we all took a peek at our charts we’d locate which house is Cancer; mine it is the natal 9th House which is normally how I address these Moon phases, but I could certainly employ any number of other charts.

Age Harmonics would put this instead within my 4th House at age 42 soon to be 43 this July 26th.

“I asked the librarian for a book about Pavlov’s dogs and Schrödinger’s cat. She said it rang a bell, but she didn’t know if it was there or not.” – Unknown
“When things get tough, remember: whether you know them or not, there’s at least one person out there who you’ve impacted with your life.” — Unknown

A funny degree because yesterday I set up my Animal Crossing Pocket Camp as a wedding venue of sorts with all the decor I had so I’ve even got a dog marrying a cat in the game. I had not even begun considering the New Moon when I designed my camp and camper yesterday while resting my foot having completed all our laundry, dinner, and other chores.

The 9th House in comparison to the 4th House looks like a deep plunge into the meaning of life through higher realities beyond our logical mind where our past karmic actions performed in all our past births have led to our destiny/fortune.

If your 9th House is favorable in your chart you receive fertile land for yourself, but if it was afflicted your land becomes barren. The 9th House also speaks to dharma, worship, publicity, publishing, spiritual beliefs, temple pilgrimmages, meditation, and charity.

The 4th House is where we seek happiness internally through finding our way towards enlightenment/liberation. This deals particularly with heart, emotions, our concepts of mother, agriculture, our nourishment at home, and sleep.

It is directly tied to the Divine Feminine as well as the subconscious mind while making up the moksha trikona or spiritual triangle between 4th, 8th, and 12th Houses.

The spiritual aspirant does not go towards materialism rather they yearn for the doorway to liberation where they can free themselves from all materialistic attachments. The highest being the human body. They wish to let go of attachment to people, surroundings, and worldly pleasure to remove the cycle of birth/death.

Plug “liberty” into the search function of this blog and you will see how this shapes my beliefs so strongly. I eat, sleep, breathe, and drink this for I can not exist without such a concept as freedom!

4th House is a hidden house that expresses the inner core of your being and the roots/origin of your created personality impacting your decision making abilities of the future.

Your human quest is happiness and this is where you locate it. For some of us the house, car, clothes, and all other worldly pursuits mean nothing if we can not see the Divine within and express our gratitude, empathy, and compassion for the opportunity to seek and receive moksha.

This degree wherever it lies within your chart will read as follows. Please note that this likely is expressed also through the marriage of heaven and Earth.

“What bird movie won an Oscar? Lord of the Wings.” – Unknown

The chart holder is trying to find keys to understanding themselves through new ways of communicating. They need to approach this in a gradual way while keeping at their efforts. They can easily become frustrated and the antidote to this is patience coupled with perseverance.

The world always seems unusual to them for they take nothing for granted. This is a beautifully open minded way of being so long as they can avoid becoming overly insecure.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “An opossum comes out into the moonlight.” The Chinese characters are a whole world of pictures to be explored and understood little by little. The opossum, too, is engaged in exploring. This is an Aries degree with the sign Aries ruling all things exploration.

The degree is highly subjective and interior. It wishes to be left to its own impulses and doings without having to answer or justify itself. It seeks meaning in everything desiring to understand how that meaning all fits together, but not from any logical/rational viewpoint.

This is a degree of feeling via the life of the imagination. It’s way of understanding anything is highly personal. Work with guardian angel Aniel and daimon Phenex. I’ve previously covered both of these more than once so I’m diverting you to the following blog post for more information on the guardian angel as well as daimon for effective insight.

Of note this Wednesday our Moon will make a T-Square with Mars in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. These are the combined energies of water, fire, and Earth. An ongoing battle happens in the subconscious where each energy is fighting to dominate the other.

You will find two in opposition with one acting as arbitrator. Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn operate in Cardinal Mode being ambitious desiring to begin new adventures, working on them instantly, and never stopping until success is attained. Your goal is to learn to use your energy efficiently.

Now let’s look deeper into this pattern. Aries is a “Me” first temperament with Cancer as the home/family and Capricorn is the embodiment of our economy and government at large.

This implies that the pressures cascading throughout our collective societies are now falling onto our homes/families while Saturn insists on following and defining the rules and Uranus waits to come thundering down in a bolt of lightening with inspiration to fuel Pluto’s clapping hands over a need for transformation.

Written another way home/family is under assault from society and government while the “Me” generation awaits a driving force that will give them direction and these are all in fact generational planets with an impetus for great resurrection and change.

Jupiter has fueled this fire by asserting that Cancer and our 4th House maintain our families and value systems correcting what has been done to and by our generations at large on the 3D playing field. Bullying and bigotry must step aside!

NGC 2359 in Canis Major

The degree falls upon two fixed stars which include Delta Monoceros in Monoceros the Unicorn and Muliphein in the neck of Canis Major the Greater Dog. Monoceros is the unicorn which was once an apothecary symbol as it was to represent the horn as a panacea for all illness.

The closest representations believed to be these mythical creatures are the rhinoceros and narwhal. Most likely an Asian rhinocerosunicornis to be exact or maybe even the elasmotherium.

Derivatives of monos from Greek include monad, monastery, and monk for their references to alone or single. Other references may include Amalthea the she-goat nourishing baby Jupiter through the horn of plenty or cornucopia. British slang depicts the word rhino with money and the origin is the expression “paying through the nose.”

The rhinoceros is a solitary creature both male/female establishing their own territory where they were in the past displayed as pious symbols of those who renounce the world loving to dwell alone removed from their kind.

It is here that we find concepts even of monasticism and the Pythagorean Monad as a term for God as the totality of all beings referencing the source as one without division which brings forth the belief in monotheism.

Unfortunately I’m unable to find much information on the other fixed star at present. Historically it was known as Wezen or Hadar through its Arabic form. Wezen came to us via Al Wazn meaning weight. Kabbalists associated this with the Hebrew letter Tzaddi and the tarot trump The Moon.

You’ll figure it out whenever you’re meant to. As I’ve said I’ve been covering this for months now throughout 2021-2022 often finding myself back where I’ve started multiple times literally traveling in circles. The New Moon suggests we lie low, recharge our batteries, improve our mental health, and take in a well deserved Cosmic reboot.

Dust off your vision board and assess what you most want in your future. Your life is not just about your materialism, consumerism, and go go go. What you need most is emotional security, time for your ancestors/family, and stability beneath your feet to reach the stars.

Poor foundations and ignoring your intuition don’t allow for you to stand. Gain self moderation, grounding, and stop letting others make you feel caged. Have a fantastic and unreal New Moon! Best wishes! 🙏🏻🌠

Teach Me Tuesdays: Animal Totem Messages

“When the birdwatcher found a nest, he was egg-sighted! The only thing otters drive in rivers is an otter-mobile.” – Unknown

It’s time for furry and feathery vengeance; or something like that. Anyway enjoy the underlined hyperlink text which will provide you with some twisty turvy along your journey.

Thankful for small achievements. I managed to actually get my bedroom cleaned thoroughly today since I had a lot of dust on my wealth altar, computer desk, and such as well as some laundry. Everything feels better at least in that regard since I use the witch hazel in there to dust because my only other cleaning option has peppermint oil which is harder to air out if it becomes too aggressive an odor.

I was feeling great until I encountered the obstacle that led to me putting a little too much weight into my left foot. Now I’m feeling the burn again of aches and pains. It was fun while it lasted because I learned the kitchen entrance way has the perfect set up for standing push ups today. The pain has been on/off again today honestly!

I’ve managed well otherwise, but I had hoped today would mean my pain flares were lessening. Maybe I was a little too hopeful, but can you blame me. In fact this foot has gotten so cranky that to keep it from hurting most nights I’m sleeping on my stomach or back in Tree pose to keep it at a realtive 90° angle to prevent my plantar fasciitis from flaring in an inherited California King oak tree bed; totally normal.

I may very well be a Holly on the Celtic calendar like mom, but… I mean I’ve started sleeping to DNA repair and anti inflammatory frequency entrainment music to see if it will help.

Thankfully my neck has not been upset since my head is often turned left or right. Night splints won’t work. Compression socks or anything too tight causes me neuropathy, muscle spasms (the last was Hell on Earth), and makes my Achilles burn. I wake up wanting to curse obscenities if I do that and forget it during the day. Kinesthetic tape is fine.

Today I thought we could have some fun with investigating animal totems. I’ve been given the following three as those I am presently working with while going through my Reiki attunement process/education in reaching Master level.

I’ve additionally performed a Dodecatemoria/Dvadashamsha chart similar to yesterday for the fixed star Algorab which is a traditionally Arabic word (Al-ghuraab) which means the Crow within the Corvus Constellation as these hold significance to those born in Magha lunar mansion.

The nature of this fixed star is the energies of Mars and Saturn which can assist one with driving away negative energies and give protection from the malice of others. It has been associated with Black Onyx and the right kidney within the human body. This also reminds me of my blog post on Libra while it’s notable that Corvus actually in the Hebrew Mazzaroth is associated to the Leo Sun sign (my Tropical placement and Vedic lunar mansion).

The Antennae Galaxies in Corvus Constellation

The Chinese see this fixed star as the Chariot or celestial carriage transporting tributes from foreign lands to the Emperor signifying an accumulation of wealth while presiding over travel.

There is a PDF I found explaining this with the Bible, but I’m going to forewarn and forearm my blog readers that I do not really belong to any church. I may have become fully Catholic in my 20s and have the maternal/paternal DNA of an Ashkenazi Jew from Europe particularly Germany and Denmark, but I’m not really a dogmatist or holding some radically rigid belief system because I’ve grown beyond exoteric practices.

I do me and you do you! Esotericism is not what most church pews teach, and I get testy with fundamentalism now.

Blue Jay:

Encourages me to be a little sassy each day! If there’s something I’ve been wanting I am supposed to politely ask for it. If there’s any issues which need confrontation I am not to sweep it under the rug as Blue Jay will drag it back out into the open to be addressed. Because Blue Jays will eat the young of other birds we are told to be direct without operating from a destructive intent.

Otter happens to be one of the most playful feminine energies on Earth swimming over into my space to bring a message of joyful play rather than competitive play. If life has been difficult or I find my challenges overwhelming I have been encouraged to relax rather than panic. Otter is here to remind me that play is just as important as work especially the kind I loved as a child. Hopscotch was suggested for me.

The Crow:

Crow is always on the alert for trouble with their loud caws that warn each other of impending danger. Very little escapes their keen vision and many cultures associate Crow with being the keeper of knowledge. Crow has flapped his way into my life to bring a message of watchfulness. Build your nest high enough to really understand what’s going on around you is the advice I’ve been given.

Dodecatemoria/Dvadashamsha Chart for Algorab

Algorab is in a rather ironic place being that it’s the 1st House of Aries at 14° in this style chart given what they are meant to teach us about ourselves. Opposed to my Sun, trine Neptune, and biquintile Chiron we can see certain traits play out here. The 1st House is for self improvement as well as displays one’s inner/outer image reflecting our personality, character, manners, and temperament.

We don’t make rash decisions rather we slow down to assess all situations. This is especially true in healing or channeling our emotions. To access our inner potential we feel drawn to engage in creative, artistic, spiritual, and charitable activities. We tend to not follow linear time enjoying instead a maverick’s path of healer, astrologer, and self realization.

When life becomes too confining to the chart holder they push against it until they experience a breakthrough. One will not let anything thwart their growth. This molting they do is quite automatic and one will only cause severe suffering to themselves if they resist it. Growth is exhilarating especially when one supports themselves in the process of it.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “An apple tree with many rotten apples on the ground around it.” The rotten apples and the snake’s dead skin are what has been cast off. The skin is a remnant of the growth and expansion of wisdom which will always be generating new skins as it evolves.

The rotten apples manifest the luxurious abundance of the creative urge as it relentlessly casts its seeds of inspiration into the physical world. Work with guardian angel Mebahel and daimon Leraje.

Daimon Leraje represents the Six of Wands, Moon, Leo, and Plantain. This daimon empowers ritual magic bringing aid to love spells while guiding one in healing/medicine as well as assisting with reconciliation spells. Leraje imparts one with the wisdom to handle conflicts.

Garden updates include larger roma tomatoes which are still green, a few more zinnias and sunflowers, we’re still producing some beans which need to be cut although I’m not sure when I’m getting out there yet although I need to check the carrots, and we have a lot of various bees.

I’m honestly not outside much in the hotter afternoons so I’ve stopped photographing butterflies the way I did about 5-6 years ago. Oh, the front garden crepe myrtles are unhappy and the bark is peeling, however, one of the back one’s is very happy. Lettuce is going to seed!

That’s two bees for the price of one please. Wings and stripes! And I think that might be another baby preying mantis?! It’s difficult to see in the central region, but that little greeny is what I’m “I Spying.”
Solar flowers galore which I got to say someone today mentioned that I have not one, but two green thumbs after seeing the garden.
We still have some beans being produced on the vines, but I’ve not been able to get to cutting them. We gave several away and still have a bag in the refrigerator! It’s like death by green, yellow, and purple beans out here even if this is not the best image capture of the event!
Color, but it seems to often be of the same variety and vivid.
I’m not complaining; promise!
Lettuce heading off to seed…
I really need to check the carrots again to see if they’re ready to harvest, but the peanut planted by the neighborhood squirrel in the same bed and the wildflowers has grown huge. I do wish either A) my neighbor would stop feeding the squirrels or B) they would stop planting in my beds!
Here is some borage!
Let’s not forget the roma tomatoes on the vines.
Or the sweet potatoes!

May you have a provocative and intriguing Tuesday! 💬🌌

PS: Google has responded that they should be removing the “flag” on my business listing. I’m not sure who sent in that I had harmful downloads, links, or was fraudulent, but I do hope the Universe teaches them a nice lesson in karma!

I still believe doing that with no grounds or basis is defamation, slander, or libel of a person’s character and business. As I said before my astrology business is legal, and I’m no criminal. I pass background checks. If you have a question at the very least use the contact form or email on my Terms of Service & FAQ. Going around bad mouthing anyone with no grounds is just childish and improper.

Teach Me Tuesdays: June’s Strawberry Supermoon Brings Cleansing During a Harvest

“The night is a strawberry.” – Louise Penny

While I was sleeping the June Strawberry Supermoon signifying our ripening and in-gathering of harvest occurred at 4:51 AM CST in Sagittarius at 22° with aspects which includes a T-Square between the Sun in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces with a Stellium between Uranus, the North Lunar Node, Venus, and the Ascendant in Taurus while Mercury was at zero point Gemini. Other names for this Moon include the Green Corn Moon, Berries Ripen Moon, Horse Moon, Flower Moon, and Mead Moon as the meadows were mowed.

Yes, I still have the strawberry jewelry box above near my wealth altar in my bedroom. It was made by my best friend in high school during our pottery class we shared.

This will impact everyone a little bit differently for a variety of factors. Myself personally my natal 2nd House is Sagittarius while in the same configuration/chart my 8th House is Gemini, my 5th House is Pisces, and my 7th House is Taurus. The Sabian Symbol of this degree linked to above is about taking our dirty laundry whatever that may be literally or metaphorically, giving it a good thorough wash with detergent and/or fabric softener, and then industrial or line drying it.

For me personally this is a time where wisdom and good judgment can bless one with better earning capabilities and expand our overall ideas/vision regarding finding resources which support our ability to feel secure in life. We have a lucky guardian angel who helps us attain positive publicity, a love for comfort/relaxation, and determines whether or not we will be the spender/saver with our overall wealth acquired past, present, and future.

We display as outspoken, courageous, and we tend to concentrate our energies on that which is according to our own impulse rather than people pleasing. Our intuitive/psychic nature allows us to have a deeper awareness of how others perceive us. This can also be a trigger for our internal insecurities. We believe that we’re often misunderstood or seen as impulsive and unpredictable. We are not like other extroverts in that we actually do enjoy our moments of solitude.

My placements also indicate something I’m more than well aware of. I have an extremely discriminating knowledge of current events from consuming television or alternative news programs/podcasts and being overly interested in public affairs. When Neptune transits into my 5th House, however, I become a million times more spiritual, imaginative, and ironically as you may/may not have noticed we take up an extreme desire to learn about vibration, energy, and all kinds of woo with quantum physics.

I saw a website at one point that explained the problem with creating Happiness Machines which reminded me of Kabbalah’s take on the Wheel of Fortune. You’re not designed to remain in bliss forever despite modern esotericists who claim such practices are healthy.

The color range of zinnias is still a little limited, but I’m still enjoying what has grown in the garden nonetheless.
Sunflower centers on full display. Definitely bee magnets!
A gulf fritillary on a zinnia!

Life is cycles therefore if you were actually transcending duality consciousness you would no longer identify any instance in your life as inherently a form of polarity be that male versus female, black versus white, or positive versus negative. Many of us have not been trained to reach such levels because our self professed or propped up by others yogis, preachers, life coaches, etc. prefer to make money and fame by selling us what I’ll call half truths as they’re not inherently lies or untruths.

Back to placements that have a personal emphasis for me true fulfillment lies in finding a balance between traditions, responsibility, and the exciting/experimental. We’re rebellious against authority. Our life is not just about understanding or knowing self, but there is a deliberate attempt to do the same with others.

The T-Square currently can present us with those who are stubborn, inflexible, and struggle with commitment. It’s going to be a slightly bumpy ride where being ambitious or go-getter meets a bit of strife, but if we employ our endless supply of inner intelligence we’re likely capable of adapting easily to anything we’re presented with at this time. Stelliums in and of themselves present other challenges pushing us towards mastery through repeated trial/error.

You may see blurred boundaries, face rejection from peers, deal with some rather chaotic environments, and need to find quirky or original solutions to what life brings your way at this time. The best way to imagine a stellium is as if you were the mom of multiple children with various archetypes being displayed that you’re trying to get into a cooperative group.

We could call each of these archetypes the Performer, the Activist, the Anxious, the Studious, and the Rescuer. Life is asking you to investigate each one and determine what they mean to you personally.

The Performer wants to be center stage while the Activist desires to champion various social, environmental, and economic/political causes. The Anxious struggles to feel secure knowing what is expected of them yet the Studious yearns to persevere through hard work. Finally the Rescuer is enlivened by opportunities to race in and save the day.

Let’s investigate this degree further; I’m very familiar with this as I’ve crossed it before in my astrology chart years ago during a transit. It’s actually in my eyes a fun degree to explore.

A passionate and insistent self expression can be found here. This degree displays the ability to stir up energies which bring transformation to situations by provoking others to see them in a new way. It helps others to get back in touch with what they’re really feeling and comfortably express themselves. Affirming once again the ground of our being lies in renewing our self assurances that we’re ready to move on.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Blackbirds flying out of a pie.” Live birds were never meant to be eaten. There are dark energies we were never meant to take in. In this degree suddenly and surprisingly they release in a way that is harmless even humorous and delightful.

In the original nursery rhyme there were four and twenty of them. Twenty-four being the number of the soul’s complete journey. This is a fortunate number where one will get to enjoy a good life with love, support, and affection from others.

And so this is not just a partial release of what Eckard Tolle calls the “pain body,” but gradually and eventually a complete release of it. This degree is Kabbalistically ruled by the Moon and Sagittarius is the sign of transcendence hence the subconscious (Moon) eventually transcending its repressed contents. Work with guardian angel Ariel and daimon Bifrons.

Daimon Bifrons correlates to the Two of Cups, Mars, Tobacco, and Cancer. This daimon helps us to better understand geometry, mathematics, astrology, and the properties of herbs as well as stones. Another benefit of working with Bifrons is during post funeral rites to ensure restless souls of the departed may safely transition.

For those born into Magha nakshatra such as myself any instruction or assistance with this particular daimon helps us to remain in touch with our departed ancestral heritage particularly as a means of honoring them.

“Strawberries are considered to be the most bullied fruits because they’re always getting picked on.” – Anonymous

For many we may meet with our pitris also during our dreams as they might have unfinished karma on the physical planes that we’re here to burn/finish for them. And while a great many would say that’s not your obligation some spiritual practices believe this assists the entire family lineage in obtaining the various degrees of liberation we seek to accomplish.

I’ve found what I believe is a two part series on Ketu which rules Magha nakshatra with Regulus that is great for me particularly as my Ketu was in Aquarius with my Rahu in Leo. You see the nakshatra is a lunar mansion which means my Moon is Leo while the Sun was in Cancer under a Sidereal/Vedic natal chart.

After a while I will admit this can become confusing for self as well as others due to the intricacies of how deeply one can study their natal or other astrology charts/workings. My sidebar explains the differences I have in Tropical and Sidereal.

On a more general approach as everyone would need to look upon their natal and transit charts to ascertain the current path their June Strawberry Supermoon asks of them this time is ideal for anything related to family, career aspirations, and believing in yourself.

If you’re struggling with self confidence enlist the support of loved ones whatever tribe that may include as it may not be the one you’re born into. Clean out your closets/drawers, old papers/receipts, and anything else which clutters your life at this time. It’s auspicious now to free up any stagnant or negative energy similar to my blog post on Gandanta recently.

If you’re interested in crystal work this degree is great with Blue Onyx expressing a message of emotional purification and transformation as excesses wash away and virtuousness is enhanced by focusing upon taking a necessary retreat to a quiet location where you may reawaken your spirituality and grow personally. The affirmation is I make time for reflection, stillness, and silence in my life.

The degree falls upon two fixed stars of interest. We would look to Ras Alhague in the head of Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer and Gamma Apus in Apus the Bird Of Paradise. With a name traced to Persian astronomy via Al Rai’ as The Shepherd and the Chinese name How as the Duke we find that the first fixed star we are investigating is associated with Asclepius ruling medicines. Other associations from Kabbalists include the Hebrew letter Ayin and the tarot trump The Tower.

Apus literally translates from it’s connection with the family Apodidae or the Swifts as Without Foot in the constellation of Bird of Paradise. Swifts can reach speeds of 69 miles per hour. Paradise being a word with Persian roots is generally identified with the Garden of Eden. Portuguese traders first encountered these birds on trade roots to the Moluccas which is taken from the Arabic root malik meaning king. In Hebrew the related word is malach meaning angel/messenger.

Swifts have such small legs they were believed to have none at all. These aerial birds drink, bathe, preen, collect food, and sleep/mate while on wing. In China this constellatin was Cho the Curious Sparrow or the Little Wonder Bird.

This time also can be seen as Vat Purnima when married women dedicate to Savitri who tricked Yama the God of Death into giving her dead husband a new lease on life. Devotees worship the Banyan where she sat and prayed.

I hope your June Strawberry Supermoon is a day filled with much catharsis and distillation. I’m finishing up some chores and have been resting due to chronic foot pain. Today is a day of rest, ice, compression, and elevation for my left foot. Which sounds alchemic in it’s own sense, but then I don’t expect everyone to grasp the cryptic reference.

Teach Me Tuesdays: What is Your 13 Moon Archetype?

“Simple solution to my fear of the dark! I just close my eyes and pretend it’s not there.” – Unknown

Today is a break from astrology. I’ve been hard and heavy hitting at charting a lot over the course of my time as an astrology business with a blog. I wanted to cut myself some slack today, and shift away from this even though I considered looking at some Arabic Parts/Lots. I just ultimately need to allow myself some downtime from those topics right now.

I decided to draw from an online oracle today as well as to try a quiz for this theme. I don’t always trust these tools, but sometimes I’m simply suffering from ennui. The tarot reading generated three cards in total for the energies it believes are a match at present. Those would include the Primal Goddess, Catalyze (Sacred Tool of Lightning), and Passion (Frequency of Orange).

I probably won’t disagree with this as an end result actually from a tarot reading regardless that it’s ultimately a byproduct of digital authorship rather than that of physically handling a tarot deck.

I felt a resonance because I was looking upon the numerology of where I live realizing my address’ number adds to 13 exactly with a street that has a magical correspondence as well. Another oddity is that the street behind me is a synchronicity in my eyes to my lunar mansion Magha through the fixed star Regulus being that it is called Lionheart.

I saw this albeit is from about 10 years ago I found it worth my time to read/digest regardless; that’s the beauty of online time travel with no DeLorean. Or another street nearby named Iris. Is that the eyes or the Goddess respectively?!

The Primal Goddess

This really only struck me because modern esotericism wants to believe that the numerological value of thirteen carries the message of the return of the Divine Feminine, unity, and balance through transcending the material reality and ascending to New Earth vibration codes.

It’s an offshoot of Christ/Cosmic consciousness whereby we acknowledge there are 13 lunar cycles within the solar year honoring the Goddess. I’m one who will allow people to believe as they so choose because as I’ve most often said I’m neither dogmatic nor really twinned or connected to any specific group being that I tend to operate solitary.

We may find more truth in this through the belief of Friday the 13th given that this day was named for Goddesses associated with Venus when many considered it an optimal time for manifestation, honoring creativity, and the celebration of beauty, wisdom, and nourishment of our soul. It was said to symbolize the importance of rest, relaxation, and playfulness.

For women it held resonance to our ovulation cycles when we were not ashamed of our ability to hold space for new life. I’ve met many women who claim to be proudly modern and domesticated who legitimately “hate” their menses which I believe is a byproduct of many distorted beliefs they have adopted that reject parts of their human temple as a form of inner/external body shame, dissociation, or due to associating it with pain.

Reiki and a few other schools might consider this number to be a reference to the energetic harmonic waves of the Earth’s heartbeat that is a piece of our quantum and primoridal DNA cells through the original 8 cells of life that form after fusion of egg/sperm in cell replication. These cells are positioned between your Root and Sacral chakras maintaining your aura.

Catalyze (Sacred Tool of Lightning)

When we connect with these cells we have an opportunity to connect with our Higher Heart chakra, pineal gland, Soul Star chakra, and Earth Star chakra via the Hara Lines I’ve previously discussed/linked to in a blog post.

If we activate these energies we remember how to harness the stellar energies for healing disease aligning with the aether. We shift from egoic states to Divine mind. The goal of such a practice is to step out of old patriarchal or human made systems into innate flow with Mother Earth.

If you noticed that I skipped the Higher Heart chakra this is because I needed to do more research before I could include anything upon it because it’s a direct link to your immune system via the thymus. This is due to the location being between our heart and throat where intent originates connecting the reason of language with the emotions of our heart to clarify our life’s purpose strengthening the higher self to express itself.

The quiz went quite a bit different being that it downloaded as a PDF where I had to check off qualities I resonate with and then total them up determining which ones I found the most matches to. For those curious the result was the Priestess identified as the archetypes of Vesta, Hestia, Morrigan (crows being a Magha nakshatra theme though), and the Blue Medicine Buddha.

Makes one wonder about the High Priestess in the Major arcana. I already knew about the ecstatic aspect being that I’ve previously tested when I was in a phase to the Alchemical and Ecstatic Goddess archetypes via a group online that I’ve since parted ways with entirely.

Passion (Frequency of Orange)

The Primal Goddess is a representation of the Divine Feminine in her natural, instinctual, untamed, and freer aspect with a motto that reads “everything in excess” pushing beyond limitations, interpretations, and boundaries of the mind which form our habitual patterns. She follows her passions without rationalization and mental approval of the inner critic. Her transcendent function is via the use of imagination and intensity to co-create reality.

Her shadow displays as shame, guilt, powerlessness, doubt, and stagnation. When this occurs one should stand in their power and truth asking directly for what they desire rather than misusing their kundalini to manipulate.

The gateway to this vibration is through ecstatic attunement when we access deep meditation, dancing, writing, painting, lovemaking, prayer, singing, and altered states of consciousness. The affirmation for the Primal Goddess is I fuel and I consume with the colors red, orange, yellow, gold, and copper. We find her displayed best through Shakti, Pele, and Lilith (yes, that Lilith).

Me: Doc, I have a crippling fear of big empty spaces.

Therapist: A void?

Me: That’s good advice. Thanks.

Transformation is in progress at this time when we receive this archetype. We are shaking the world upon which we have carefully constructed our ego to awaken beyond our comfort zone. Now is time to take well calculated risks that present in our life as new opportunities for growth.

I hope you have a cathartic Tuesday! I’m going to keep this short today because I’m legitimately running low on energy which means I need to put more emphasis on “me” time for a little while if I want to remain healthy on all fronts. So self care is on my evening agenda! 🔋💤

Teach Me Tuesdays: The Featured Cliffhanger From The Heavens

“Every man needs a shadow to reveal his light, to always be that close, ever present, bonded forever in astral allegiance.” – Poppet

It’s time for a summer adventure so let’s use the underlined hyperlink text to beam up to the cosmos for more lessons in learning about our purpose down here on Earth. Get your mouse ready to click!

There are three areas we can look to in this short extract of astrology that help us understand how fixed stars contribute to certain actions, choices, and attitudes in our life if we are in greater harmony with them. Today we’re looking at that which shapes the character, vocation, and journey of my life. The astrology reports my business offers work to give a very personalized yet not too in depth or overwhelming interpretation of similar concepts.

They never delve quite into the areas that I blog about because I recognize I sometimes get too “detail oriented” with what I’ve chosen to study, share, and use with regards to myself as the guinea pig example rather than just my ancestors. I’m not as I’ve said keen on publicly using my client’s info out of respect for their privacy nor impeding into the lives of celebrities. Am I triggered at times by what I see other’s do; probably. I have been trying to keep that more restrained.

For example, the Do What You Love report is vocational astrology while the As Within So Without report showcases personality through your natal blueprint. Other features include the Part of Fortune report looking at areas of how abundance might display in your life, but I’ve even included a focus on the Nine Muses, the Four Pillars of Destiny, and the Lunar Goddesses/Moon for themes which can shape our unconscious/subconscious.

I’m once again utilizing the SAD or Solar Arc Direction chart today the same as I’ve done on Monday, but rather than utilize both Sabian and Omega Symbols we’re going to only utilize the Chandra Symbols for reference. This is mostly due today to time constraints whereby I need to better manage my energies spent online researching/sharing with others. Apologies!

I’ve really been intrigued with self studying videos on my lunar mansion though as of late which sadly becomes addictive. Self absorbed; no! Just really wanting to gain a better understanding of the vibrations, frequencies, and energies I might be working with.

Solar Arc SAD Chart for Achernar, Antares, and Altair

Achernar in Eridanus is a river that winds down the southern hemisphere into unknown lands, but at the very end of this river we find the constellation Phoenix. This is an allegorical hint of this river being transformational. Mythology spoke of Achernar in Eridanus as a river leading to our Underworld or to lands of mystery. The energy is often a love of knowledge, science, and travel. Well placed Achernar may indicate happiness, success, good morals, and a faithful adherence to spiritual beliefs of one’s own choosing.

The man in the moon smiling.

Living on the edge. Poised at many brinks. Swept up in a tide of changes. Chaotic and magnificent. Everywhere at once. You are creative, generative, overwhelmed, and overstimulated, but primarily exulting in yourself and your emergent capacities. Falling in love with the dance of destiny you find yourself in. Ecstatic release in being able to catch the spark as it flies. Very fast, very strong, very remarkable, and knowing it.

Achernar was placed natal in my 5th House of Pisces, but the Solar Arc Directional has moved this fixed star to my 6th House of Aries at 26°. From the simple act of creating, giving of oneself, and making something we move towards maintaining good health, coping in the face of adversity, and refining our skills towards perfection. Work with guardian angel Lelahel and daimon Valefor.

Daimon Valefor connects us with the Seven of Pentacles, Venus, Dandelion, and Taurus. When working with this daimon we are initiated through our astral double and dreams. I’ve read that this daimon guards one’s sleeping chamber protecting you from any evil entities which come near. Valefor also assists with self acceptance and the overcoming of life’s many obstacles.

Is there really a man in the Moon or was that a Goddess or even a rabbit?

Antares in Scorpio is the fabric of rebirth lying in the constellation Scorpius which stands as a great scorpion in the sky guarding at the gateway of the West, the Underworld, and all who pass through this domain undergo a journey where their old self dies to be born again. Career choices will be motivated by a desire to engage with groups which bring forth knowledge and order to life on Earth.

The lunar mansion associated here is Jyeshta associated with the string of stars in the constellation Scorpius. If you wish to learn more about this nakshatra watch the following whiteboard video and these two additional videos.

The Egyptians saw this star as a representation of the sunrise heralding the autumnal equinox around 3700-3500 BC making it a symbol of the goddess Serket (Isis in the Pyramid Ceremonials). As one of the four royal stars or archangel stars Antares represented the Watcher of the West and Uriel.

Many different perfumes carried by a breeze.

We bear within us many past lives, each one complete, autonomous, and emitting its own subtle special fragrance. There are points along the journey when we must stand together with the whole lineup of our previous selves and follow out the journey they were all leading to.

This is a formidable task. There is a lot to live up to. It grants you authority and conviction making it very hard to get started. In order to get anywhere you must at times deny the awareness that everybody is there and do whatever you can do apparently on your own.

But truly the depth of experience, the substantive inward development, and the power of your inner drive give it away. You are destiny charged in a larger than life fashion. Being self possessed is your watchword.

There is so much to accomplish. And at the center of the journey lies self knowledge and the overriding determination to clear the karmic slate, to free up what has been trapped, and come to yourself afresh.

This destiny will is guided, cosmically supported, centrally relevant to your whole world, and you will do it. Turn the darkest of hours into the brightest breakthroughs by refusing to stop anywhere or to back down from your resolve to wake up this time and get on with the greater path at long last.

Antares was placed natal in my 2nd House of Sagittarius retrograde, but the Solar Arc Directional has moved this fixed star to my 3rd House of Capricorn at 20°. From our feelings and emotions, inner selves, finances/assets, and physical surroundings we move to how we consciously interpret the world around us, express ourselves through written/verbal exchange, and how we learn best. Work with guardian angel Jeliel and daimon Agares.

Daimon Agares connects us with the Three of Wands, Venus, Carnation, and Aries. Working with this daimon increases our perception of language, communication, and abundance. I’ve literally read on one website that we should seek out this daimon to gain wisdom in friendship and making our garden grow pun intended as it states that Agares makes the Earth dance.

“Leaving the world behind is the best experience most feeble minds fear to try.” — Michael Bassey Johnson

Life Journey:

Altair in Aquila is the story of a spiritual warrior transcending their experiences coming forth as an eagle. The Greeks saw this as a form of Zeus while the Romans saw it as a symbol of military might. The Norse knew this as Veðrfölnir. Associated with Shravana nakshatra which you can learn more about via these two videos. Altair influences our imagination, passions, will, clairvoyance, and has been associated with the Hebrew letter Vav and the tarot trump The Lovers.

A woman asleep in a ring of flames.

Drama, color, and sound. Magnitude and shakings. You dream through it all in an enchantment which simultaneously protects and stifles. An ancestral power of suspended life force held away while great events surround and envelop you yet do not penetrate. You experience a most unusual soul disposition of deep sleep in the teeth of collective and ancestral events. Experiences which are huge and never ending.

Is it a grace or a curse? It can be either. It becomes a grace if you awaken in ripe timing and move on from here. It can be a curse if you stay down under too long and miss the cue to stir and look around discovering that the future has dawned and the old ways have fallen away. Sleeper awake!

Achernar was placed natal in my 4th House of Aquarius, but the Solar Arc Directional has moved this fixed star to my 5th House of Pisces at 12°. From the domestic satisfaction of mental peace and emotional satisfaction we journey to our childlike innocence, seek validation, and discover what hobbies or artistic talents inspire us. Work with guardian angel Nithael and daimon Murmur.

Daimon Murmur connects us with the Ten of Pentacles, Venus, Oak Bark, and Virgo. Murmur also strengthens the astral double, rules over music and sciomancy, and imparts one with restraint. Most people refer to sciomancy as working with the shades or shadows as in the departed, but it’s also widely described as divination through a spirit guide to develop higher consciousness.

What many also confuse is their understanding of the daimon as well as divination versus fortune telling. Divination is ritual based and much more focused on general or social character while fortune telling makes it personal and intimate. Both seek to channel a higher consciousness level to find answers to an uncertain future.

Teach Me Tuesdays: Starseeds or No?!

“Look up and get lost.” – Unknown

Use the underlined hyperlink text to go on what may be a more interactive fiction storytelling experience than anything else.

I won’t expect for those who need to hear this to even read it. I’m really trying to master the art of Ketu detachment as a Magha nakshatra native. Months ago I took a random starseed personality test thinking it was probably bunk. Today I built upon a previous blog post, and learned my astrology chart might be showing that it was not at all false because the Natal chart is hitting Lyran starseed degrees albeit as I’ve said these theories are inherently speculative.

Today we’re going to look at these and compare it to the Draconic chart which really does not indicate the starseed quotient as adequately. Terminology can get a bit non-descript around the realms of esoterics. For example, lightworkers are a reference to souls who come from dimensions above the 3D helping the planet ascend with a wide range of purposes from becoming healers to spiritual teachers.

More often than not these are the embodiment of the everyday person contributing their energy towards raising consciousness. Starseeds have an extraterrestrial soul which incarnated into the human realm on Earth from a further away planet, galaxy, or reality. Their primary focus is to bring knowledge to our Universe through an ability as a psychic medium.

Often starseeds are at a higher vibration than the 3D inhabiting higher states of consciousness. This does not mean they won’t fluctuate in both groups to lower vibrational fields for everything is in flux/flow. The inherent idea though of a society incapable of doing shadow work has been growing.

It’s not that one should “live” there in shadow work, but to believe that life is to only be rainbows, unicorns, and cupcakes is to dissociate or live in denial. Most people would call starseeds alien while lightworkers belong on Earth.

The purpose of each is different for a lightworker spreads light and healing by professions which interact directly with people. Starseeds employ writing and art as a platform for sharig their ideas to shape minds positively. The starseed comes to Earth to plant seeds into the collective consciousness of humanity to encourage empathy, love, and forgiveness amongst people.

The starseed serves simply by influencing the collective through the simple act of being present. Lightworkers fit in perfectly on Earth, but starseeds live a different story altogether finding this much more difficult. The starseed struggles, is seen as a misfit, and suffers depression or isolation when feeling as if they don’t belong on Earth. We have to cope with being socially outcast by society.

Universal/Cosmic consciousness works in both light and shadow and what we perceive as the dualistic world views of right versus wrong, black versus white, and up versus down are illusions of our perception of reality. Kabbalists have stated that like the Wheel of Fortune tarot when we believe something to be bad for us it is in fact the opposite.

Without what you observe to be a negative we would take much for granted and not live from gratitude for the purpose of such a “feeling” is only to teach us to appreciate the value of detachment to outcomes.

None of which would be becoming understandable to me if it were not for my current life course. I’ve been worried about both conditions on the home front with my mom’s health, my sometimes lack of independence most recently, and the 90 day probation of my part time cosmetology job realizing I don’t feel I’m an inherently adequate match to the position where I’ve felt a strong sense of guilt/regret at interviewing and accepting the job.

In the end I’ve had several recent days to sit with these emotions realizing I’m letting go of “control” in areas where I have absolutely no sphere of influence because it’s easier to let go and let the Universe determine best where I belong. It seems releasing these feelings is not easy for me.

That won’t make sense until I offer an example from my youth. I tried out in high school for Drill Team and twice failed at making the team, but when I tried out for Color Guard which was an aspect of auxiliary band I made the team. If I’d made it onto Drill Team I would not have been happy for it was in fact a more elitist as well as rule bound extracurricular activity with an actual demerit system.

Color Guard as a part of auxiliary band actually offered me more avenues of freedom of expression without strict and/or harsh legalist culture. The Universe placed me where I could be of the most benefit and happiest when I stopped being emotionally distressed over how my life was turning out and feeling as if fate was working against me.

It’s time I stop fighting against outcomes which I’m not in “control” of due to probably fear of also a slightly bruised little ego. It’s also going to help me break my month long self pity mojo that I’ve been carrying with me. What began feeling exciting and correct is starting to show some cracks. All relationships do including those of employment.

The question is are they severe enough to ever throw in a towel hastily? Probation is always a tricky ordeal as all involved are on a try before you buy footing ensuring one doesn’t get a lemon because they don’t wish to make/sell lemonade. Their perspective is that such an endeavor is not even profitable. Meanwhile others won’t work from such limiting beliefs. They believe a lemonade stand can work!

Natal Chart for Vega, Sheliak, Sulaphat, and Aladfar
Draconic Chart for Vega, Sheliak, Sulaphat, and Aladfar

The Natal chart places me with 3 potential starseed degrees which include the fixed stars within my 3rd House Capricorn at 15° for Vega, 18° for Sheliak, and 21° for Sulaphat. We learn in viewing the Draconic chart that this is not the case simply because it also places these degrees in the 3rd House of Leo in differnt degree markers.

This is why I’m not really wanting to spend as much time investigating in my blog post the Draconic chart. A keen interest exists in looking at the Anaretic of Aladfar in the 4th House of Capricorn. Once this house is mastered it moves into the degrees of Aquarius. I’m loving these degree symbols from the Sabian system which makes me eager to see the Omega and Chandra systems!

Vega is sextile Uranus, quincunx Jupiter, trine Saturn and Chiron, and square Pluto. Sheliak is sextile Uranus, semisextile Neptune, square Pluto, and trine Chiron. Sulaphat is opposition Venus, quincunx Mercury, and square Pluto. Aladfar is opposition Sun and Venus and quintile Uranus. That is a mouthful! Let’s translate this and investigate these degrees as speedily as possible!

Your 3rd House is what you think and seek to communicate to others with a focus on acquiring and sharing information. This is known as data gathering, writing, and reporting. Capricorn is Earth overlaying an air house making one commanding, directive, and strategic.

We are constantly concerned with responsibility and productivity. 4th House is psychological and familial roots particularly the maternal kind which determines one’s sense of belonging. In Aquarius as an air sign overlaying a water house one seeks to create the ideal family acting as a social engineer of their tribe.

We prefer progressive approaches to our responsibilities and commitments in life. We’re known to overextend ourselves which if we fail to set appropriate boundaries or say “No” to every request put before us we are taken advantage of. Rules tend to rub us all the wrong way. We feel continuously constrained by authority and feel unfulfilled in life as well as insecure about our abilities/talents.

The biggest problem for us are systems that embody calcification, rigidity, and unresponsiveness which triggers rebellion and a refusal to cooperate in our psyche. Our lives often feel suffocating and heavy. We’re very often knocked off our chosen path in life. We’re more attracted to unorthodox relationships and living.

The chart holder is aware of how to access the help that the Universe makes available to all beings. To receive this help one has to first understand the manner in which it is structured. The limitations and priorities that need to be followed and the specific ways in which all the different energies work. It is all in the process of finding one’s way toward pure consciousness which is union with God/Goddess.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A woman wearing a necklace of skulls.” If only focused on seeking power and denying those fears inside which need to be released this degree will merely perpetuate old karmas until the cycle is worn out. On the other hand if it can rise above such little ego impulses it has a tremendous ability to deeply heal and clear its own being as well as catalyze others to do the same.

The woman wearing the necklace of skulls is the goddess Kali a dark angel who helps us to befriend all the hidden and lost pieces of ourselves. Until her tests are met we cannot fully attune to the sacred hierarchies of the Omega Symbol. The challenge of this degree is to find the right use of its inborn ability to lead.

A way that serves the will of the highest as well as to fuse compassion and forgiveness with its innate potency. Work with guardian angel Rochel and daimon Decarabia.

Daimon Decarabia is tied with the Seven of Swords, Moon, Jasmine, and Aquarius. Work with this daimon helps one learn how to utilize precious stones, guidance in dream shaping and workiing with the astral realms, an ability for uncovering deceptions, and a knowledge of all things feminine.

The chart holder is inherently patient and knows that it may take a long time before its gifts are appreciated. It’s also aware that when people are exposed to something again and again over a long period they can begin to take that thing for granted so sometimes its best to hold back what one has to offer until the time is right to bring it forth.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A black leopard with green eyes.” The painting is stored in the dark the leopard is a creature of the dark. Green is the color of emeralds, the gem of Mercury, the planet of communication.

The artist’s painting was painted to communicate something, but now it is not doing that for it dwells in the dark. Until it can communicate once again, open its eyes to the light, and reaffirm its power which is like that of the leopard’s.

Sometimes when something is hidden it is a good thing. Later when it is re-revealed we may see it with fresh eyes. This degree knows the power of waiting for the right time to act and bring forth its ideas. It uses the power of darkness and silence to enhance what is eventually and finally communicated. Work with guardian angel Mumiah and daimon Andromallus.

Daimon Andromallus is tied with the Ten of Cups, Mars, Wormwood, and Pisces. This daimon is essential for protection against theft and harm by other people. Many work with Andromallus to determine if the intentions of others are evil or dishonest. A great use of this daimon’s protection skills are also advised for your home, vehicle, and other items of value.

“When it rains look for rainbows and when it’s dark look for stars.” – Unknown

If you keep moving forward then guiding and helping forces will reach out to assist you. There may as well be other forces which will attempt to retard and stop you, but this too is good, for it gives you the chance to confront your shadow self and hence to understand yourself in a much more complete way. This degree is highly sensitive to anything which might try to stop it or encourage it being utterly intent on reaching its destiny.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A stately old house in a ruined condition.” The house may be refurbished and either updated or restored in accordance with the historical period in which it was built, or it may be torn down, or simply left alone. It is interesting that of these four possibilities there is a tendency for many people to think of them as moral imperatives where something should be done in a certain way. The fact is the house can be appreciated for what it is or it can be changed.

The past is the same way we can appreciate it and accept it for what it is or we can actually change it by freeing ourselves from its influence. Whatever we choose to do we will find that as we move through the passageway of time as the woman in the Omega Symbol is doing hands will reach out to touch us, to encourage us in our forward movement, or to try to stop us and hold us back.

And the interesting thing is that often the hands trying to help us are the ones that are actually holding us back and the ones seemingly trying to hold us back are found eventually to be the ones that help us forward.

We are always free to respond to this however we want and we are always free also to change our responses over time. At its highest this degree is almost completely non-judgmental and willing in every instance to try to choose the way that leads to the highest good for all. Work with guardian angel Sitael and daimon Vassago.

Daimon Vassago is tied with the Four of Wands, Jupiter, Lemon Balm, and Aries. This daimon helps one with their divination skills, social confidence, and quickness of thoughts. Usually one develops a witty conversational ability. Vassago is helpful if you’ve been stabbed in the back by others.

To go out into the world simply and directly to get ones needs met is the genius of this degree. And although the concept of this is simple the actual playing out of it can be highly complex for this degree is gifted with a relentless ingenuity and resourcefulness being able to maintain a coolness, calmness, and ease even in the midst of the world’s most difficult challenges.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “An architect carefully surveying old ruins” This degree wants to reconstruct the past if not in actuality at least in the mind so that it can be clearly seen for what it is. I’m referring here not just to the historical past in general, but to every soul’s own past; all of one’s past lives. Essentially it wants to know exactly what happened and why. It wants to know this because the past is the road by which we come to the present.

In an ideal world an endless number of details add up musically to a beautiful and harmonious symphony. This degree is trying to embrace wholeness through studying fragments. It is a challenge that can be accomplished as long as one avoids becoming lost in a sea of tiny bits of evidence. When this degree’s creative research works it magically builds out of the dust realms of imagination and wonder.

At its core this degree seeks something deeply cooling, soothing, simple, and refreshing that it can and will eventually find amidst the shards of antiquity. This something sought is the eternal love that has always been there. Work with guardian angel Lauviah and daimon Gusion.

Daimon Gusion is tied with the Seven of Pentacles, Venus, Clary Sage, and Cancer. Need an intermediary between the spiritual and physical realms try this daimon. Beware that he is a blunt speaker often honest with providing answers to your questions.

Modern day fiction such as television used Babylon 5 to introduce the Vega Colony as an outpost world of the Earth Alliance in the Vega star system while the movie Contact used a plot device of a detected extraterrestrial intelligence message sent from a transmitter array orbiting Vega.

The Pawnee used Vega as one of the four direction stars to align their dwellings. Earth lodges were dome shaped resembling the sky with poles marked white (Sirius), yellow (Capella), red (Antares), and black (Vega) as colors of stars.

Asian cultures see Vega as part of the Weaving Girl and Cowherd. Vega may be our next North/Pole star although I know many don’t like to cope with precession in their esoteric schools as I confronted this when I had my business Twitter account. It was hard for them to grasp Magha nakshatra as Regulus and Ketu ruled precessing Leo to Virgo.

Kabbalists associate these fixed stars with the Hebrew letter Daleth and the tarot trump the Emperor, but I associate Daleth with the Empress who graced my wealth altar before it became the Star. Daleth is a door that opens to water, the poor man is the narrow gate, and the door opens the way to the waters of life.

We choose to believe the stories we choose to believe even the fanciful ones. As I’ve said much of this form of astrology is speculative. I’m not studying it for little ego gratification whatsoever. It’s simply out of curiosity and a bit of imaginative fantasy. Have a thankful Tuesday wherever you are! 🧶📖💫

PS: If proofreading is spotty tonight we’ve had another night of thunderstorms so I’ve done my best with an effort to avoid power outage risk again. A link was corrected that went to the wrong Sabian symbol.

Teach Me Tuesdays: The Tales of Melusine and Asteroid Melusina

Write your secrets in the sand and trust them with a mermaid.” – Unknown

Inquiring into the murky depths can wash ashore all kinds of peculiarities with the underlined hyperlink text at present.

Yesterday I mentioned I wanted to do a blog post on Melusine and the asteroid Melusina (373) so we’re going to complete that task via a Draconic Chart today. I’ve already pulled the chart making note that it is in a pretty informative place for me. I had no idea though that this would propel me to my angst against Saturn in my chart being that I’m a very Jupiter/Chesed kind of gal; I mean my ring is on my Jupiter finger! If I have to choose Greater Benefic or Greater Malefic I’m on Jupiter’s side! Kind of ironic that this matches my blueprint cards.

The mythology stems from European/Celtic folklore of a female spirit of fresh water in a sacred spring or river depicted as a serpent or fish from the waist down with wings. The French tale shows a medieval forest where Melusine is discovered bathing by Raymond of Poitou who fell madly in love with her asking for her hand in marriage.

She agreed on one condition that once a week on Saturdays she be given utter total privacy which he agreed to. All was fine in this marriage for a time where they had several children with unusual features such as exceptionally large teeth or tusks. This appearance whetted curiosity and Melusine’s Saturday ritual of locking herself away or disappearing for the day became too much.

Curiosity got the better of Raymond who spied upon her discovering that she was bathing in a tub of water. He learned she was not the woman he knew, but was part woman/part dragon complete with wings and a serpent’s tail.

Upon realizing that he violated her only request and her secret had been uncovered she flew away never to return to her husband. Periodically Melusine will return to see her children. Some claim the dragon woman motif is the result of a curse while others state her natural form is that of a Goddess.

There are also Celtic traditions permitting that Melusine’s true home is their version of an afterlife paradise known as the Isle of Avalon. She is said to be an ancestral spirit where when any member of this family dies the dragon manifests, flies overhead, and weeps.

Melusine’s request for secrecy necessitated her survival and she may be petitioned by anyone who seeks time to express their private or repressed, hidden, and ignored aspects of their true selves so that their talents might emerge. She is said to be the Goddess of magical and spiritual wisdom.

The name may mean ocean mist, marvel, or wonder. Her spirit manifests as a woman who is winged above the waist with a serpentine tail below; she is said to be exceptionally beautiful. Most often you will find her depicted as a siren or mermaid.

Saturday in this mythology speaks to the Greater Malefic in our esoteric world. This planet of karma, limitations, and discipline is associated with our Saturn Returns approximately every thirty years forcing us to confront our past lessons gaining wisdom from them before we embark on new ventures/journeys. The rings of Saturn represent limitations, bindings, and boundaries which serve to bring structure and order.

Be a mermaid. Swim fast, wear a crown, and dream big.” – Unknown

Like Jupiter, who I am far more fond of as Saturn was never my favorite, there is an involved Moon system of ten Moons. The largest Moon is Titan which is the size of the planet Mercury. Jupiter is second only to the Sun in gravitation with Saturn second only to Jupiter thus these three are the heavy weights of spiritual power.

Saturn represents our spiritual teachers/teachings while Jupiter is an expansion of love/consciousness. These upper octaves of personal planets help us with the resolution of karma moving us towards higher consciousness.

Saturn though is more like a micromanager and is traditionally lead in alchemy to signify the weight of the responsibilities we bear. When seen as Chronos this planet represents harvest and reaping the rewards/consequences of what we have sown. We see this as Father Time or the Grim Reaper.

Kabbalah associates Saturn with the sphere of Binah, the Divine Feminine, the Cosmic Goddess/Destroyer, and Capricorn (my Imum Coeli). It is here that we also experience the Winter Solstice when the Divine Child of life/rebirth is honored. This probably speaks to my studies of the Oak and Holly King as well. Mom and I are Holly, but…

The Imum Coeli is our foundations, the beginnings of our life, and what we experience through parental inheritance as well as homeland influence. I’ve seen some state Capricorn looks more like Spirited Away which I loved honestly. I absolutely adored this story.

Saturn imbues us with Eastern Yogic and martial arts traditions. You will also find that this planet speaks to the repercussions of our actions. Use your powers responsibly! In times past the Saturnalia was practiced as a time of merriment when things were turned upside down thereby the slaves were waited upon by their masters and all normal rules were reversed.

Melusine Mythology:

Of note some state this is the tale of Jacquetta of Luxembourg that became a collective mythos. I’ll let my audience be the judge. I’m staying clear of the secret society route. I’ve spent more than enough time traveling certain “rabbit holes” some of which you wonder about their source materials. This rather solitary gal would prefer to simply keep her distance!

Draconic Chart for Asteroid Melusina

Asteroid Melusina is on a precipice for me being that she is within the Anaretic Degree of my 12th House of Aries at 29° meaning I am to learn her lessons before she will progress and move towards my 1st House or further around my chart. Her only aspect is biquintile Chiron the Wounded Healer (my natal Chiron was Taurus, but Draconic it is a soul wound in Sagittarius).

The 12th House holds a place that is great for psychotherapy of the subconscious and unconscious mind. Here we embody rest, the end of long cycles, and the termination of any and all confinement which deals with hospital stays, nursing home residences, jails, psychiatric wards, etc. We go here to heal and embody self sacrifice as it is ruled by Pisces and Neptune. This is also the home ruling charity especially that of a one to one basis.

If we add in the potency of the aspect to Chiron we find that one is to heal the collective imagination as their fantasy world is so intense living with limitations is nearly impossible. We love role playing games, cosplay, and the worlds of wizards, warlocks, and witches.

Our greatest desire is to merge with an entire group of people. We also enjoy dancing, music, acting, and spiritual wisdom. This is the placement of those who desire to be above all forms of pain/suffering and seek to transcend our humanity. We long to explore the ethereal and fantastical.

The chart holder has a need to expose themselves to many different things and to fully engage with whatever they contact. Here they have a great ability to simplify life by direct contact with the Earth and Earthly concerns while never losing sight of the tremendous complexity of life. The chart holder knows that getting dirty can be a good thing; a therapeutic thing.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Dr. Jekyll drinks the potion.” No running away here rather an embracing of the unknown and a complete willingness to try something just to see what happens.

Of course what will happen is that the dark side of the self will emerge and eventually will be redeemed by being revealed as we learn we are of the Earth, but not prisoners of the Earth because we are infinitely more than the Earth. Work with guardian angel Reiyel and daimon Astaroth.

Daimon Astaroth links us to the the Three of Pentacles, Venus, Vervain, and Capricorn. I’ve actually previously covered this daimon. Additional commentary suggests working with this daimon is beneficial for the removal of traumatic events in our lives ensuring that we heal from that which prevents us from moving forward.

If you’re spinning your wheels getting nowhere then work with this daimon. Astaroth helps one pursue their life’s purpose consciously or subconsciously. Your free will determines if you will play a proper role in the grand scheme of the Cosmos or if you will act against it.

Messier 54 with a “funny” quote!

This degree sits upon the fixed star Alrisha in the knot of Pisces the Fishes. The name is a derivative of Al Risha meaning “The Chord” which represents the knot of united chords tying the two fishes of Pisces together. This is a form of uniting and bonding. The energy of this fixed star is that of Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn. Kabbalists associate this with the Hebrew letter Peh and the tarot trump The Star (perhaps an expanding Universe with stellar nurseries).

Some call this degree the Music of the Spheres stating that the Sabian symbols speaks to a celestial choir manifesting eternal realities. Celestite is a good crystal to work with for the message of connecting to all the heavenly realms and higher consciousness pursuits via clear communication. The focus is placed on listening to other planes. The affirmation should be a stellar world is now envisioned.

To finalize today’s blog post here are some photos of a butterfly I captured on the sage in our garden, the harvested beans and new potatoes, and I also identified one plant in our jungle as borage! I grew this years ago, but did not know it was in the mixed seeds package. I hope you all have an astonishing Tuesday. ✌️📅

I’m not entirely sure, but I do believe it’s one of the Skipper butterflies. I’m horrible at identifying therefore I used to send sightings into actual scientists for identification. No clue if it is the Araxes Skipper. I know I get a lot of Bordered Patches also. Someone correct me!
The potatoes are shown fresh out of the dirt I tilled with plants still intact. This form of harvesting is new potatoes with us waiting a bit longer for the main crop. Another large bowl of beans this week. Yes, yes, it really is Renee/Jill and the Beanstalk!

Teach Me Tuesdays: The Taroscope and the Astrology of Asteroid Lust

A snail walks into a bank to make a deposit. Then a turtle comes in and robs the bank. Afterward, the police are interviewing the snail and ask him to recount what had happened. The snail says, “I don’t know, it all happened so fast.”

I’m loading this with a lot of underlined hyperlink text because I want my regular and new blog readers to have choices/options for interpretations instead of a one size fits all cookie cutter approach to what I’m investigating today! So give your mouse a workout and get to “surfing” cyberspace because as they say everything which is active lives longer than that which stagnates!

I wanted to do this after reading about the Great Attractor because I immediately had an epiphany moment of what I wanted to hone in on for myself to gain clarity by combining two esoteric theories of tarot and astrology. I’ve taken the time and liberty to also read Part 1 which for me personally was a bit of a “review” of topics I was already quite familiar with and Part 3. I guess my blog posts are a buildup of consciousness all leading in one direction.

The taroscope takes your essential archetypal trump card determined via your birthdate and combines this with your personality card which is a court card corresponding to your zodiac sign and your destiny card which is the number card representative of your zodiac decan in which you were born. For me personally this will look like the following:

Essential Archetype as Hierophant

Personality Card as Prince of Wands

Destiny Card as Five of Wands

Being that my birthdate is the 26th of July and this always reduces to a tarot birth card of Strength I thought today would be the ideal day to likewise investigate via a Vedic Age Harmonic Chart where the asteroid Lust (4386) was in my present condition. The reason being that the Thoth deck displays Strength as Lust or one’s desire nature as a sense of craving which I imagine it would benefit me to know what that is in an effort to gain more clarity

““Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be filled with joy.”” – Unknown

One of the most important things we desperately need to grasp in the esoteric schools of thought is that we have two fundamental drives propelling us through life. Eros (libido) and Thanatos (aggression) which fluctuate between our id, ego, and supergo or conscious/unconscious mind.

Eros as a Greek God of love came to represent our instinct to life portrayed as nice, compassionate, loving, and full of aliveness. Thanatos as a Greek God of death came to represent our instinct to destruction portrayed as manifest anger, violence, and hostility.

Therefore are your decisions driven by pleasure, sexuality, love, happiness, procreation, and the need to get along with others or homicide, suicide, self harm, and risky behavior patterns. Lust and desire are the pleasure principle therefore they fall under Eros.

Most people only attach an extremely negative view of this asteroid. It’s completely thrust under the hashtag of the “Metoo” movement and the male gaze phenomena. I guess the women in the world have yet to recognize and integrate the shadow of the Femme Fatal archetype because they are stuck in a very perpetual victim consciousness still.

This is not me trying to diminish their experiences rather it’s the fact that women also have to own what about them is allowing them to become the archetype of a victim. In my estimation it takes two partners to tango! Both the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine need to start owning their guano! The truth is we allow ourselves to be victims sometimes out of ignorance and sometimes not.

Asteroid Lust orbits the Sun between Mars and Jupiter. It is pronounced “loost,” and is said to fall under the Three of Cups as a representation of the Three Graces of faith, hope, and charity thereby meaning it symbolizes passion, joy of any kind (not just sexual), and can be a symbol of a zest for life in general.

In this chart we will find asteroid Lust in my 12th House of Pisces at 9° trine Jupiter and Chiron as well as semisquare Uranus with my True Lunar Node. I actually like this degree symbol for what it represents, but one has to treat their companion well who is helping them win any race!

Our 12th House deals with deprivation, loss, isolation, hospitals, prisons, hidden enemies, the fear of death/illness, self undoing, and our unconscious/subconscious. This involves collective realms of life from groups, neighborhoods, organizations, states, and the world in general. 12th House is Neptune ruled.

Age Harmonic Chart for Asteroid Lust

When Pisces inhabits the 12th House we come across as assertive and must develop the capability to show compassion and sensitivity while listening to what our gut/intuition tells us. We understand ourselves as well as others quie well, but need to guard against becoming too permissive.

We will struggle to ignore the poor, sick, and needy putting a focus on social justice, human rights activism, and we worry about the plight of refugees or innocent victims of war. We become whole when we make room in our lives to explore the ethereal, fantastical, and imaginary. We will appear to have a whacky sense of humor and can seem impractical when we follow our whims.

This is the placement for those obsessed with transition especially saying goodbye to that which is not for our greatest good. When our intuition tells us we feel liberated it is God/Goddess giving us a big hug and green light to go ahead. The checklist we follow is to ask for signs, ask for help/support, protect our home with unconditional love/security, take care of sick people, direct a job/career our way, solve financial problems, and work towards overall inner peace so that we flow.

A lack of judgement is here with an acceptance of the needs of others no matter what they may be. Also included is a lack of fear of what is unknown based on the belief that the universe is an inherently safe place. Where one might expect discord or conflict this degree knows that being deeply accepting can create an environment of harmony and peace in which all of life can partake.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Dusk. A vampire awakens.” Until we can awaken those areas of ourselves that need healing we exist in a state of suspension. This degree senses how to turn the consciousness away from the outer objective world allowing the unredeemed energies of the subconscious to come forth.

It is acutely sensitive to desires and able to contact them without judgment, rationalization, fear, or anything else that might distort them and make them seem other than what they are. The fact is that what we run away from we give power to whereas what we are willing to completely own and accept eventually loses its negative charge and becomes integrated into our being.

When the shadow is ready to move on it will. Work with guardian angel Hahasiah and daimon Balam.

Daimon Balam directs us to the Seven of Wands, Sun, Leo, and Vetiver. If you’re working with Balam you probably specialize in the tarot, palm reading, working with crystals, healing spells, astral travel, solar magic, and tree spirits. This daimon is great for working with the higher self, shadow, and spirit/totem animals.

There is no fixed star on this degree to cover. I did, however, go look at the Kozminsky description for this degree as a comparative. We should remember that Pisces was my South Node with Virgo as my North Node on the Western zodiac system!

9° Pisces: Venus and Cupid metamorphosed as two fishes swimming from a giant who stands on a rock.

Denotes one of a sensitive disposition and pure mind who understands intuitively the true meaning of love as symbolized in the planet Venus; sublime and in her dignity. His/her enemy is lust which threatens to cling to him/her and by craft to hold the throne of his/her soul in the guise of love. But the native will know vice as a destroying angel only and his/her knowledge will protect him/her and set him/her free. It is a symbol of Transmutation.

Magic Beans!
Those are purple not black beans!

Today I spent my day quite productive including rescuing a black swallowtail butterfly who managed to get caught in our Agribon covering our lettuce in the garden. I had to coax it out with both of my hands as he/she refused to crawl upon my arm and let me assist to freedom.

Thankfully the little guy/gal flew out, but not before flying up against my right ear and fluttering his/her wings against me before flying away. I guess that was a butterfly kiss. I have no clue, but their wings are quite soft. All I do know is that the butterfly was in panic mode trying to get out of the Agribon therefore he/she could not see that I had pinned the netting up leaving plenty of free space to escape.

This teaches us about what happens when we become fearful as we lose our bearings and think irrationally. The butterfly kept flying and crawling along the top of the Agribon ignoring all the openings to leave in an anxious moment of distress.

I also spent a large amount of time hunched over and digging through some rather itchy leaves and stems clipping three full bowls of green, yellow, and purple beans two months into our gardening which will be part of our dinner tonight! I’m still waiting on the flowers. We do have some orange cosmos now that go with the yellow out front, but they’ve been slow to get budding.

The other random unidentified flying insect in the Agribon was definitely not impressed with the butterfly as it was totally chill sitting until it got slapped multiple times by huge black butterfly wings and went running the other direction having had it’s calm disturbed. You know me and my garden updates; I’m always proud of my plant rearing successes cause I’m a nerdy plant mother! Have a trendsetting Tuesday and much love! 🦋⛑️

PS: The purple beans turn dark green when they are cooked! Kind of a bummer! I wanted purple beans on my plate. Also no blog post tomorrow. I’m really struggling some days to keep up with my many hats I’m wearing. I did treat myself this week though with cashew ice cream in peanut butter brownie flavor and a few other little rewards! 🍨

Teach Me Tuesdays: Overcoming Obstacles (Companion to Manifestation Mondays)

“Let go completely of all worry, anxiety, fear, or need to control. Give it completely up.” – Ganesha

Come along for a chance to jump over some hurdles via our underlined hyperlink text today!

Before I begin there may be a slight discrepancy with yesterday’s blog post because I’ve looked again at the chart and tried to assess how my Libran house falls between both the 12th House, Ascendant, and 1st House. It’s highly possible Libra 26° of Asteroid Spirit is in fact in the 1st House. This would be just slightly significant in that most of us get stuck in rigidly defined personas which begin to shape our consciousness.

While the 12th House can cause a person to not know who they are losing the boundary or focus essential to their stability the 1st House is very much about likewise being too defined by the props of our ego which is a fiction in fact it can often be the “legal fictions” by which many of us operate for it is the mask shaping all accumulated experiences of our past.

You see the “legal fiction” is fortified by everything Ketu dislikes which is work/career, status/hierarchy, and relationships. Both of these astrological houses combined by an Ascendant therefore create a sticky and peculiar illusion we navigate in the 3D.

You see your Ascendant is a signature of dense physical garb describing you; a vehicle if you will which holds an immortal soul. The sign this falls in gives you the key to unlocking that which should be striven for this lifetime. Each incarnation your chances to grow spiritually and perfect yourself are enhanced through this struggle you’ve entered into.

The road of life which you take is defined by the Ascendant as your soul purpose and liberation point. Therefore in Libra we are to become a World Peacemaker through mental constructs fostered by the ruler of enlightenment known as Uranus who nourishes our occult training. This then becomes the link to world cultures, affairs, and social welfare.

Libra has a particular embodiment asked of it which is to fully accept all of its power, potential, and gifts by holding the celestial balance within their hands as a Cosmic judge, artist, lover, and peacemaker of the heavens. The healing charms and powers used for the benefit of self serve others through “we” not “me” consciousness to bring people together, repair lost dreams, and to purify consciousness.

And with that I won’t be explaining the birth, “legal fiction,” and self reliance or natural law concepts here because well that is best left to others as it will involve topics I prefer to not discuss on my astrology website/blog. Anyone who wants to investigate those exceptionally “touchy” topics may do so as they see fit for it will definitely be the butt heads against what is also referred to as the sovereign citizen movement.

Again these are issues of literalisms versus occultism which I don’t wish to get bogged down into or flame warred over with regards to legal or linguistic principals. After all I’m still “in the Matrix” so to speak! Albeit every single time I manage a personality test for that series I test as a Morpheus archetype.

I’ve seen a lot of people who hate the series or who simply don’t want to understand that it’s definitely heavily laced with Kabbalistic tones which for those online who know certain “circles” anyone with any Ashkenazi Jewish descent right now is gonna receive a boat load of “hatred.” And well I have a share of that on maternal as well as biological paternal.

We’re lumped into a group of people that engender so much stigmatism and peculiar beliefs we’re just really more often than not thought of as very much undesirable, unwanted, and so forth even if we’re not tied with certain questionable organizations.

Pesky Personality Tests Which Are Not Always Accurate

As I’ve said I’m quite the solitary or loner who simply chose my own path and seeks answers. I don’t belong to any extra curricular activities or “groups” that many choose to commit psychological warfare with. I’ve been online as a content creator since the late 90s so I’ve seen more than my fair share of rubbish! Or as I’ve said I don’t do “partnering” up well; I have that doesn’t always play well others thing for some reason to work on.

I’ve learned today that Ketu is not a physical planet rather it is a shadow planet of mystery known as Moksha Karaka indicating liberation through enlightenment, bliss, and the prevention of any one of us taking a rebirth via the 12th House of our astrology chart!

When Ketu blesses us we receive healing abilities and psychic powers, but some believe those who receive the negative aspect of Ketu will experience illness, heightened anxiety/fear, and well something about “ghosts” again. Yes, you read that correctly; “ghosts.” I guess now I can see why my Twitter friend, the Vedic astrologer, said we are like those Boos in the Mario franchise because of this peculiar belief.

“If you want to travel on the path of moksha (ultimate liberation), ‘You’ (the Self) do not have to ‘do’ anything. And if you want to wander in the worldly life, ‘You’ have to ‘do’ everything.” – Dada Bhagwan

It is said that offsetting the negative effects of Ketu is best done through the worship of Ganesha to overcome any obstacle created by Ketu which will assist with acquiring immense knowledge, spirituality, and luxury. I’m really not huge into “remedies or indulgences” therefore I don’t want to start digressing into those methods per say. What I do know is that many associate the following correspondences with Ganesha:

  • His elephant head and pot belly signify prosperity.
  • The color vermilion red or orange red is associated with eradicating grief, pain, and suffering (is that why my accent wall where my wealth altar is placed and the new top blanket of my bed are red).
  • Ganesha activates our Third Eye chakra.
  • Career growth is easily accessible, financial difficulties are resolved, and success in business is earned via the worship of Ganesha.

Now if we were to consider the blog post I did expressing links to the Golem folklore of a being created from clay with relation to “truth” then we’d learn how Ganesha is the planetary overlord of Ketu or those ruled by Ketu. The body of Ganesha was created via clay by Goddess Parvati who later infused life into it.

When Ganesha was beheaded becoming like Ketu who is seen as a headless lower half of a severed snake we learn of the elephant head which is to become Ganesha’s new appearance. If we place Ketu within Sagittarius we come into contact with Gaja Roopa known as the face of an elephant God.

Ganesha rides upon a mouse, is a leader of the Ganas, a destroyer of the hurdles placed before us, and the son of Shiva/Parvati. The elephant head signifies the Atma also known as the soul which encompasses the Supreme Reality. It is his human body which represents Maya or illusion. The trunk is in fact representative of the sound of cosmic reality while the head denotes wisdom.

The goad of the right hand helps propel humanity forward on their path, however, the noose held in the left hand captures all difficulties. There is much more to the iconography of Ganesha which anyone can learn.

This Hindu deity serves to destroy vanity, selfishness, and pride. When we incarnate with a ruler such as these two we are carrying perfected abilities with us from previous incarnations. Ketu is a friend in your chart of Mars and Jupiter remaining neutral towards Saturn, Mercury, and Venus while being the enemy of the Sun and Moon. Rahu is our worldly desires in opposition to the planet of spirituality, intense concentration, deep perception, inertia, and a connection to chaos.

Anyone who is strongly associated with Ketu will feel connected to something higher than them having Divine guidance governing their ability to access esoteric knowledge, alchemy, hypnotism, and telepathy.

“So, what do you do for a living? You may be sorry you asked.” – Unknown

Some see the negative side of Ketu as tied to cemeteries, burial grounds, and graveyards. The linkage with Mars can erupt into arguments, misunderstandings, or it can become courage. The seperativeness of this planet makes one introverted, unafraid of getting through life alone, introspective, and indicates our genetic baggage.

A Ketu ruled inidividual takes a strong liking towards astrology for it was Ganesha who was the first in the Hindu pantheon to take on the role of seer/astrologer. This will radiate further into tantrics, tarot readers, pranic/reiki healers, and those capable of accessing the Akashic Records. Our infamous Ketu rules our roots, but this includes depth analysis, examination, contemplation, and research often linked to code language such as what we find behind our mobile phones, laptops, and software applications.

Solar Arc SAD Chart for Asteroid Ganesa

I’m returning to the Solar Arc Direction or SAD chart today. Here we see that asteroid Ganesa moved from my 9th House to my 10th House of Leo 21°. Making few aspects in my chart this asteroid is only semi sextile Mercury and sextile Saturn. Here we’ve taken higher education, philosophical pursuits, law, and long distance travel towards the arena of career, social status, and life path.

While the 9th House may be seen as college, the philosophies one subscribes to, and communication of these themes through writing it is the 10th House which becomes an indicator of one’s profession. Our 10th House is our Midheaven which directly influences our life path/future. The 10th House is ruled by both Capricorn and Saturn.

When we add Leo to the mix we find that one has to shine in their career being recognized for what they do. They will often be dominating which is why they prefer to work independently being proud of their accomplishments. This is the placement of one who communicates their insights, understands human nature, and is always being sincere.

We will be curious about life while analyzing, organizing, and defining how we interact with others. We enjoy the psychological currents, rational mind, and may appear reserved or secretive. Our greatest enjoyment is building our own secret cosmos to wander around in where we express our creative insights.

Usually this is the placement for those who match mental skills with open/honest communication personal or professional in nature while often taking to writing blogs or posting videos via the world wide web. We enjoy teaching about a wide variety of topics, but generally also have an interest in our ancestors and our collective past.

The chart holder has the capacity to attune to spiritual realities in a constant and patient manner projecting an aura of peace and exaltation into the world even when busy at work or grappling with challenges/conflicts. This calm and lucid atmosphere the chart holder creates is still there helping to imbue the people around them with harmony. The more the chart holder becomes aware of this the more they will be able to allow it to happen and the greater its positive effect will be.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “a holly bush covered with berries. It is in the snow.” The holly is alive and thriving in the death of winter. This degree has the power to bring vitality to bleak and barren landscapes and to affirm life even in the midst of those forces which are against it. A light is shone into the darkness persistently and joyfully helping others to see joy and possibility where none seems to exist. Work with guardian angel Rochel and daimon Decarabia.

Daimon Decarabia represents the Seven of Swords, Moon, Peace Lily, and Aquarius. I’ve previously covered Decarabia if you’re interested in finding information there. Additional information on this daimon indicates that you’ll often see Decarabia appear as a star within a pentacle particularly a flaming pentacle to symbolically stand for the fifth element linked to Cosmic consciousness.

This degree is about being an individual who is confident, flamboyant, and brave with an unrelenting and focused nature who accomplishes the near impossible with notable success. The affirmation is I am inventive, determined, and quirky which works for me.

The crystal assigned to this degree is one I could find scant information on so I’ve skipped it for today. Have an awesome Tuesday, and if I don’t blog the rest of the week it’s because I’m busy tending to my mother’s health or will be back at my part time cosmetology job. 🪔

PS: Am I the only who has noticed that it appears WordPress updated, but there are significant issues now with the way they format when you compose all your blog posts including the resizing of images is completely wonky?! I really don’t like it at all! It’s creating havoc in my life trying to figure the “bugs” out.
